She also holds the distinction of having been commissioned to paint the cover of the Rose Parade Calendar, in Roses, for seven consecutive years. Alice's paintings have won many First place positions in competitive judged shows.

Alice devotes all of her time now to oil paintings. Her paintings have a soft focus, but are realistic. Each painting of roses are original, each rose having a different "face," like portraits. She also paints in watercolor and floral paintings on porcelain.
