I was born in France and lucky enough to be surrounded by famous and talented people! My grandfather Ernest Archdeacon was the Maecenas of the French Aviation. My brilliant mother Anne-Mariel a prolific writer with 120 books published. My uncle Maurice Dekobra also a writer internationally known, and translated in 53 languages.

Well, that was quite stimulating for ME... and I found myself involved in the artistic field with a singing career under the name of " CARLINE " winning with my First Album a French Grammy Award " Grand Prix du Disque de l`Academie Charles Cros” which gave me the opportunity to travel under different skies... Liban... South Africa... Spain... Portugal ... fascinating places which inspired me so much that, I bought my first camera to capture " THE MOMENT " and kept going later on after moving to California with a great husband at my side !

Alone now, for ten years, I had the opportunity in March 2004 to visit the Huntington Beach Central Library in Huntington Beach, California, and I was very impressed by the displays of wonderful artists (painters and photographers) from the Huntington Beach Art League! I knocked at their door and enrolled myself with a real enthusiasm in their program. I have taken things very seriously, with lovely contacts winning up to now over 50 awards and prizes with my Art Work!

Having an " EYE " for colors... with a vision for framing quickly a scene... a personage... an attitude.. a light... an unusual aspect... that is " WHAT " I try to capture with my camera in my diversified pictures. Among others, my " Eiffel Tower at Night " was a fascinating experience to shoot the scene at 2: 00 a.m., in May of 2003! !

And I will keep going for sharing with you...some newer pictures of my collection!
