Born on January 1, 1950 in Los Angeles, Kathleen Moore is the daughter of a piano playing mother and architect father. She was introduced to the world of art at an early age and never lost the urge to be creative. After studying art at Pasadena City College, she moved forward with her education to California State University at Long Beach in the seventies and is currently living in Huntington Beach, California.

During a 12 year career as an interior designer and 6 years as manager for an architectural firm, painting was not something she could fit in - a desire without much time to pursue.

Since 1997, thanks to her husband, Val, she began studying watercolor and is now able to devote full time to her passion for watercolor painting.
