 Mostly, a self taught artist, he has studied through art courses at numerous colleges and continues with private studies and workshops with professional artists.

With the desire to continue learning about art, he is influenced by the California impressionistic landscape masters. His subject matter is varied including figurative, floral and still life.

Wayne is passionate about his art. His paintings can be loose and painterly while creating a realistic image. He has painted with watercolors and acrylics but prefers oils as his medium.

Wayne has exhibited in various juried competitions, such as OC Fair, Artist Eye, Guggenheim, Irvine Fine Art Center, etc.

He currently displays his award winning paintings in his Laguna Beach gallery,  Artist Eye Laguna Gallery.
